Wolves to face Fenerbahce

VfL take on the Turkish outfit at their training camp in Austria.

VfL Wolfsburg will play Fenerbahce in the first game of their pre-season training camp on Monday 22 July (kick-off in Kapfenberg at 18:30 CEST). The two teams - who both finished sixth in their respective domestic leagues in 2018/19 - have never met in a competitive fixture, although the Fenerbahce squad does feature one or two familiar names. Ex-VfL striker Max Kruse and former Wolves Under-23 player Murat Saglam could face their former employers after joining Ersun Yanal’s team earlier this summer.

First up: Venlo and Eindhoven

Before taking on the Turkish giants, the Wolves play Dutch top-flight outfit VVV-Venlo at the Gifhorner Flutmulde on Saturday 13 July (kick-off 15:30 CEST). Oliver Glasner’s side then face PSV Eindhoven on 17 July (kick-off 19:00 CEST) before departing for the club’s training camp in Schladming two days later.
