Training start: After the performance tests at the weekend, the Wolves began pre-season training on Monday. However, the whole VfL squad wasn’t yet in attendance, with U21 internationals Micky van de Ven, Bartol Franjic, Aster Vranckx and Kilian Fischer missing as well as Jakub Kaminski and new signing Vaclav Cerny. Patrick Wimmer was not involved either – he will join training later due to dental treatment. Head coach Niko Kovac was also absent for personal reasons and will take over training from this Friday.
