Training camp friendlies

The Wolves will meet Vitesse Arnheim and HNK Rijeka in friendlies during the January training camp in Portugal.

VfL Wolfsburg kick-off their preparations for the second half of the 2018/19 season on Thursday 3 January when they head to a training camp in the Portuguese town of Almancil, near Faro. Following an impressive first half of the league campaign that left the Wolves fifth in the standings, two friendlies have been organised in Portugal in order help the Green-Whites pick up where they left off when they travel to FC Schalke 04 on Bundesliga Matchday 18 on Sunday 20 January 2019 (kick-off 18:00). 

On Sunday 6 January, head coach Bruno Labbadia's men will take on a Vitesse Arnheim side likewise in fifth place in the Dutch Eredivisie (kick-off 15:30 CET), before rounding off the training camp against Croatian top-flight outfit HNK Rijeka on Saturday 12 January (kick-off 14:00 CET). Both games will be played at the Estadio Municipal in Albufeira.
