She-Wolves sign top talent

VfL Women have brought in Germany international Jule Brand for next season.

VfL Wolfsburg Women have added another highly promising German youngster to their ranks for next season after completing the signing of senior international Jule Brand from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. The 19-year-old – who was under contract at TSG until 2023 – has penned a deal until 30 June 2025, with both clubs agreeing not to disclose the transfer fee. Brand, who is the Green-and-Whites’ first new acquisition for the 2022/23 campaign, made her Germany debut against Australia in April 2019 and scored the first of four international goals to date just three minutes after coming on as a substitute. The 2019 European Under-17 Championship winner has ten senior caps to her name.

“Overall package won me over”

“The people in charge at VfL really put a lot of effort into getting me during our talks,” said Brand. “Ultimately, the overall package at VfL Wolfsburg, who’ve been competing for titles in Germany and in Europe for many years, totally won me over. I think this move is the perfect step for my future development. I’m already looking forward to being part of this team from the summer and having a successful time at VfL.”
