She-Wolves going global

UWCL Round of 16 first leg against FC Twente available to watch around the world.

VfL Wolfsburg’s second-round matches in the UEFA Women’s Champions League are garnering significant media interest. The Round of 16 first-leg tie against Dutch champions FC Twente, which kicks off at 18:00 CEST on Wednesday 16 October at the AOK Stadion, will be available to watch around the world on streaming and also in certain countries on free-to-air TV. In the German market, Sport1 has acquired the broadcast rights and will be showing the German-Dutch derby live on Sport1+ and on sport1.de from 17:55. The match will also be available to watch on the VfL Wolfsburg YouTube channel and the VfL website. As was the case with the Round of 32 matches against KFF Mitrovica, Felix Janoschek from Wölfe TV will be the commentator.

More live streams

In the Netherlands, FC Twente – who have never gone beyond the Round of 16 at this level of European competition – have their matches shown on free-to-air TV, with regional broadcaster RTV Oost having picked up the rights for the Dutch market. Fans of women’s football in Scandinavia will be able to watch courtesy of the Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT), who will be reporting live on their channels from the AOK Stadion. The match will be available around the world on the mycujoo.tv streaming service which already has a comprehensive women’s football portfolio. The only restriction is that the UWCL Round of 16 matches will not be available on mycujoo.tv in countries which have other contractual partners. Sportradar will also be showing a live stream.
