VfL Wolfsburg Women must make do without Marina Hegering for the time being. The defender suffered a muscle injury in her right thigh during the 4-0 Bundesliga defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt. Hegering came off injured in the 78th minute of the match. It’s unclear whether the 33-year-old Germany international will be able to feature again before the end of the season.
