Joao Victor has left VfL Wolfsburg and moved to the United Arab Emirates to play for the national champions, Al Jazira Club. The 27-year-old attacker has already travelled to Abu Dhabi and will be unveiled by his new club on Tuesday. The UAE Pro League starts for Al Jazira this Friday with a home fixture against Al Dhafra.
68 appearances for the Wolves
Joao Victor joined the Wolves from Austrian Bundesliga club LASK in summer 2019. The Brazilian has made 68 appearances in all competitions over the last two years, scoring nine goals. He wore the green-and-white jersey 53 times in the Bundesliga (three goals), as well as featuring in six DFB Cup matches (three goals), seven Europa League games (three goals) and two Europa League qualifiers.
