Harder inspires She-Wolves

VfL Wolfsburg Women beat SC Sand 4-0 on Sunday, with Danish striker Pernille Harder involved in all four goals.

The She-Wolves made the perfect start to the second half of the FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga season on Sunday afternoon, beating SC Sand 4-0 away from home. Denmark striker Pernille Harder set up Zsanett Jakabfi’s opener after ten minutes before increasing her league tally to 18 with a superb hat-trick (23’, 49’, pen 81’). 

Stephan Lerch’s side host MSV Duisburg in their next league match on Saturday 14 December (kick-off 14:00 CET).

“We kept the pressure up”

VfL head coach Stephan Lerch: “I’m very pleased. We started the game really well and kept the pressure up. We were able to win very comfortably in the end and perhaps should have won by one or two more goals. We’re also happy that two of our players, Svenja Huth and Lara Dickenmann, are back playing again after injury.”
