The VfL Wolfsburg women's team turned on the style in their first friendly of the summer, recording a 22-0 victory over regional side SSV Besiegdas 03 Magdeburg.

VfL head coach Stephan Lerch: "First and foremost it's fantastic that nobody got injured after all the intense training sessions we've had – aside from Jana Burmeister, who's got a bit of pain in her ankle. We wanted to keep the ball and the opposition moving, create chances and score some nice goals. We managed to do that, so it was very positive overall."
