After coming off early due to an injury in Croatia’s first match at the U21 Euro, Josip Brekalo made a miraculous return in his country’s second match of the tournament against France. The Wolves forward came on in the 61st minute of his country’s 1-0 loss, but could not prevent Croatia from crashing out of the tournament in the group stage after just two matches.
Uduokhai watches on as Germany romp home
Things are looking more positive for Germany, however, for whom VfL defender Felix Uduokhai was on the bench as they cruised past Serbia 6-1. Stefan Kuntz’s side currently lead Group B and are favourites to make it through to the semi-finals.
