Lights are synonymous with Advent – and that’s no different in Wolfsburg! Now some 360 LED lights illuminate the roof-ring of the Volkswagen Arena. Perfectly in keeping with Advent, as well as for the 15th birthday of the Wolves home ground, at the final home game of the year against Rasenballsport Leipzig, together with VfL partner Trilux, a new, modern lighting system has been adapted. The system not only saves energy, but also reduces overall costs: The roof-ring, measuring some 568 meters, can now be illuminated with a new, colourful display, which will be implemented into the stadium-show ahead of kick-off on Tuesday, December 12th (18:30 CET). And the roof-ring is more than just illuminated, but also includes a pulsating lighting effect – representing a beating heart!
