Jill Roord will not play again this year after an injury to her left foot ruled the Dutch midfielder out of VfL's three remaining games in 2022, against SV Meppen, Slavia Praha and SKN St. Pölten. Roord was substituted off in the 12th minute of the She-Wolves' 4-2 win over AS Roma in the UEFA Women's Champions League on Thursday after injuring her foot without the involvement of an opposition player.
