Lena Lattwein broke her left collarbone during VfL Wolfsburg Women’s 8-0 home victory over Werder Bremen on Sunday. The 22-year-old midfielder collided with Bremen’s Lina Hausicke after just three minutes and was subsequently substituted off the pitch. She will undergo further examinations in the coming days and will therefore not be joining up with the German national team.
It is not yet known how long Lattwein will be sidelined for.
