Niklas Klinger is staying a Wolf. The goalkeeper signed a new contract on Thursday that will keep him at the club until 30 June 2023.
The 25-year-old stopper joined the club from SV Reislingen/Neuhaus at the tender age of seven, and then made his way through VfL’s youth system. Since 2015, he has gone on to make 34 appearances for the Wolves’ U23 side in the fourth tier of German football (Regionalliga Nord), and has also been in the first-team squad for a Bundesliga and a DFB Cup match.
