VfL Wolfsburg Women will be without midfielderJule Brand when they take on 1. FSV Mainz 05 in the DFB Cup on Saturday. The 22-year-old sustained an injury to her left ankle while contesting a duel in the 90th minute of the She-Wolves' match against Galatasaray on Wednesday evening.
As a result, Brand will also be unavailable for Germany's two upcoming international fixtures. She has been replaced in national team coach Christian Wück's squad by VfL team-mate Vivien Endemann.
