Cheribundi is coming to Germany! The American sports performance drinks manufacturer is now an official partner of VfL Wolfsburg Women and a supporter of the StrongHER project in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
"Promote awareness for healthy nutrition"
"In VfL Wolfsburg we have gained a partner with whom we share the same values," said Marcel Bens, Cheribundi CEO. "In cooperation with the club, Cheribundi wants to promote awareness for healthy nutrition in Germany, and in doing so play its part in changing the world." Founded in 2004 and based in Portland, the company's mission is to enhance the well-being of athletes and health-conscious people and to help them get the most out of their bodies. Cheribundi's products are based on the natural properties of sour cherries; they promote sleep, recovery and overall health.
Many teams rely on Cheribundi
In total, more than 400 professional and college teams in North America already place their trust in the sports performance drink. And the She-Wolves have done so too since the start of the 2022/23 season. "We are proud to now have Cheribundi as a new partner," said VfL captain Svenja Huth. "The drinks are now an established part of my daily routine and help enormously with recovery. I also have to say that they simply taste good too."
Commitment to youth
Cheribundi will also be involved in the Wolves' football school. Young players will not only be supported with Cheribundi products, but will also receive extensive instruction on topics such as recovery and nutrition. In addition, Cheribundi is committed to the StrongHER project launched by VfL in the USA, which aims to reduce social disadvantages for girls and young women in the areas of sport and education and to give them access to football. VfL fans can also look forward to the new partnership as Cheribundi will give away unique experiences such as VIP trips to matches as well as Meet & Greets.
