The centre-back, who joined the Wolves in summer 2016, agreed the deal with VfL’s Bundesliga rivals on Wednesday. The Dutch defender has made 40 Bundesliga appearances for the Green-and-Whites to date, scoring once, and is contracted to the club until 2021. Bruma also spent the second half of the 2018/19 season on loan at FC Schalke 04, and is now VfL’s fourth winter departure following Yunus Malli, Elvis Rexhbecaj and Lukas Nmecha.
