Description:

The Krzysztof Nowak Foundation was established with effect from 21 May 2002 by VfL Wolfsburg-Fußball GmbH and its players as a foundation of Deutsche StiftungsTrust GmbH – a 100% subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG.

Its aim is to support and promote those who – like Krzysztof Nowak, former professional footballer for VfL Wolfsburg who died in 2005 – are in need as a result of the nerve disease ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). 

The Krzysztof Nowak Foundation is a dependent foundation sponsored by Deutsche Stiftungs Trust GmbH and promotes charitable purposes. According to the motto “Quick help without loads of bureaucracy,” the foundation provides grants in many areas of life for those that are sick, and for their families. The financial grants are intended to support all those affected and to make the lives of the patients and their families as easy as possible.
