Wolves seal Koulierakis signing

The goalscoring defender will move from PAOK Saloniki at the end of August.

VfL Wolfsburg has confirmed its sixth new signing of this summer, with 20-year-old centre-back Konstantinos Koulierakis switching from PAOK Saloniki in Greece to the Wolves. As part of the contract, it’s been agreed that the transfer will be completed after the Europa League play-offs, where PAOK face Irish side Shamrock Rovers on 22 and 29 August.

Defender with an eye for goal

In spite of his youth, Koulierakis already has plenty of international experience having made six appearances for the Greek national team to date. At club level, the 1.88m defender has also played in the UEFA Conference League and UEFA Champions League qualifying, where he has demonstrated his goal threat with six efforts in 13 European outings. In total he has scored nine times in 72 competitive appearances for PAOK.
