Aster Vranckx will remain at VfL Wolfsburg beyond the current season after extending his contract at the club that was due to expire in 2025.
“We are pleased that Aster will remain part of our team,” said VfL sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz. “He plays an important role in our side and we have a lot of faith in him that he will use this opportunity to continue developing. We will support him in doing so because we believe Aster still has a lot of potential to exploit.”
The 21-year-old midfielder joined the Wolves in 2021 and has made 55 appearances since then, scoring twice. The Belgium international spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan at AC Milan, where he registered one assist in ten outings. Vranckx returned to Wolfsburg at the end of that season and has been a key member of the Green-and-Whites ever since.
