VfL Wolfsburg Women headed into a well-deserved winter break after their final group match of the UEFA Women’s Champions League this week. They now get to enjoy around two and a half weeks off before returning to Wolfsburg no later than Saturday 4 January, when they will undergo the obligatory performance tests. After returning to the training pitch at 10:15 CET on Wednesday 8 January, the She-Wolves jet off to Almancil, Portugal for their training camp that same day. They will also play two friendlies during the winter break.
