VfL will not be renewing the contract of Under-20 women’s team coach Saban Uzun, which is due to expire on 30 June 2019. The 31-year-old will leave the Women’s Bundesliga 2 leaders in the summer after informing the club of his wishes to seek a new challenge elsewhere. “First of all we wish Saban the best of luck for the second half of the season and also wish him all the best for his future coaching career,” said VfL Ladies’ sporting director Ralf Kellermann.
