Tabea Sellner will be unavailable for the She-Wolves for the foreseeable future for a happy reason: the Germany international is pregnant. Sellner, whose contract with VfL runs until 2025, informed her teammates of the news this week.

“We’re very happy for Tabea and her husband, and wish them all the best for the new, exciting chapter in their life,” said Ralf Kellermann, director of women’s football. “Our requirement as VfL Wolfsburg is to create the best possible conditions to facilitate her return after the birth.”
Sellner joined the She-Wolves from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim ahead of the 2021/22 season and has scored 31 goals in 65 competitive appearances to date.
