VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Elvis Rexhbecaj has signed for VfL Bochum on a one-year loan deal. The VfL academy product, who is under contract with the club until 2023, will link up with Thomas Reis, his former U19 coach at the Green-and-Whites.
Rexhbecaj could already be back at the Volkswagen Arena in 12 days’ time as Reis’s promoted side are the Wolves’ first opponents in the Bundesliga on Saturday 14 August. It is the 23-year-old’s second loan spell after he spent the second half of last season at 1. FC Köln.
