Ralph Hasenhüttl has been named as the Wolves' new head coach after signing a long-term contract at the club. The 56-year-old will oversee his first training session on Tuesday. The Austrian's last post was at English Premier League club FC Southampton, where he held the reins between December 2018 and November 2022. A striker in his playing days, Hasenhüttl previously coached RB Leipzig and FC Ingolstadt in the Bundesliga. He helped Leipzig finish as league runners-up in the 2016/17 campaign, earning the club UEFA Champions League qualification. Before then, he steered Ingolstadt to promotion and the Bundesliga 2 title in 2014/15 and comfortably kept them in the top flight the following year.

Official unveiling on Monday

Hasenhüttl will be officially introduced as the Green-and-Whites' coach at a press conference with sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz on Monday 18 March at 12:00 CET.
