Quarantine lifted

She-Wolves quartet can return to training after negative tests.

Last Saturday, Felicitas Rauch tested positive for coronavirus while with the German national team. Following several negative test results, it’s now been established beyond doubt that the VfL player did not have a COVID-19 infection at any time, as the one-off, weak positive result could not be confirmed by the tests that took place before and after. The relevant health authority has therefore lifted the quarantine.

Rauch’s club and country teammates Sara Doorsoun, Svenja Huth and Lena Oberdorf, who were isolated as a precaution, have also tested negative and been released from quarantine. This means the She-Wolves quartet can return to training and join in with the preparations for the Bundesliga match at home to SC Freiburg this Sunday, 18 April (kick-off 14:00 CEST).
