One of the leading strikers in women’s football over recent years has committed her long-term future to VfL Women. Ewa Pajor, whose contract was originally set to expire in 2022, has signed an early extension through to 30 June 2023. The 23-year-old joins captain Alexandra Popp, Zsanett Jakabfi, Felicitas Rauch, Joelle Wedemeyer and Pia-Sophie Wolter on the list of players who have extended their deals with the Green-and-Whites, while Pauline Bremer has already been confirmed as a new signing for next season.
Pajor has clocked up 100 appearances for VfL in the Women’s Bundesliga to date, scoring 65 goals. Since joining the She-Wolves in 2015, the Poland international – who has 61 caps for her country – has won three league titles and four DFB Cups, and she was also the top goalscorer in the league in the 2018/19 campaign with 24 goals.
