VfL Wolfsburg Women defender Sara Doorsoun has been ruled out for several weeks after suffering a muscle injury in her left thigh during training ahead of the German national team’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers. The 29-year-old has now left the Germany camp, with She-Wolves midfielder Pia-Sophie Wolter and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim’s Fabienne Dongus called up to replace her.
