The Germany national team has been struggling with COVID-19 cases this week, and now the Netherlands squad has also been affected by the virus after VfL players Jill Roord and Lynn Wilms both tested positive. The duo will play no part in the upcoming Tournoi de France.
Dominique Janssen will also miss the friendly tournament ahead of this summer’s European Championship, but the She-Wolves captain’s absence is merely a precaution. Janssen tested negative for the virus but travelled to the Netherlands’ team headquarters with club colleague Wilms.
