Next up: Turbine Potsdam

VfL Women face 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam after the international break.

With three wins in as many games, VfL Wolfsburg Women are the only team in the FLYERALARM Women's Bundesliga going into the next batch of fixtures with a perfect record.

After the international break, the league-leaders are looking for their next victory when they travel to Turbine Potsdam on Saturday 15 October (kick-off 13:01 CEST). At his pre-match press conference, head coach Tommy Stroot gave his thoughts on…

…team news: "We already knew about Felicitas Rauch's COVID infection. Otherwise, Marina Hegering is still working on her fitness but isn't available for the Potsdam game. This match is also a little too early for Katarzyna Kiedrzynek. Kristin Demann and Sandra Starke have both completed their recoveries over the past few days and have trained again normally, so they're both options for the squad again."

…the opposition: "One of Turbine Potsdam's main attributes is their mindset, so we need to be aware of that. I always associate away games in Potsdam with obstacles and a certain level of emotion. You never get given anything for free there, and that will be the case on Saturday too. With that in mind, we know what we need to prepare ourselves for."

…objectives: "There's a lot going on ahead of this match right now, in terms of Noemi Gentile's long-term absence and Vanessa Fischer's red card. We need to take those issues into account and try to win the game. We want to dominate, create chances, and above all come away with the three points."
