Yunus Malli has departed VfL Wolfsburg to join reigning Turkish cup winners Trabzonspor in the Süper Lig. The 28-year-old, who was loaned to 1. FC Union Berlin in the second half of the 2019/20 season, arrived in Wolfsburg from 1. FSV Mainz 05 in January 2017. Malli scored seven goals and set up another seven across 69 Bundesliga appearances for the Green-and-Whites. He also registered an assist in eight DFB Cup outings, and featured twice for the club in the UEFA Europa League.
