VfL Wolfsburg’s first competitive match in 2023/24 will be away to fifth-division side TuS Makkabi Berlin in the first round of the DFB Cup, following the draw on Sunday evening.
The club from the German capital have already written their names in the record books by becoming the first Jewish team to qualify for the first round proper in the history of the competition. It will also be the first competitive meeting between the teams.
The first-round fixtures will be played between 11-14 August, with exact dates and kick-off times still to be determined.
