VfL central defender Moritz Jenz will play for 1. FSV Mainz 05 from now until the end of the season, with VfL sending the 25-year-old out on loan for one year.

Berlin-born Jenz moved from Lorient to the Wolves last summer, having already played for FC Schalke 04 on loan for half a season. He has since gone on to make 23 appearances for the Green-and-Whites in Bundesliga and the DFB Cup, scoring one goal.
