Dzenan Pejcinovic and VfL Wolfsburg received some bad news on Monday, when medical examinations revealed that the 19-year-old striker had suffered a fractured metatarsal in his left foot in the 2-0 loss away to Bayern Munich.
Pejcinovic picked up the injury, which did not involve any contact, shortly after coming on in the 85th minute. The German youth international will be operated on in Munich at some point later this week. We would like to wish Dzenan all the best for a smooth and speedy recovery.
