There was bad news for VfL Wolfsburg Women on Monday as tests confirmed that defender Kathrin Hendrich will be out of action for approximately six weeks due to a ligament injury in her left knee.
The Germany international sustained the injury in the final training session ahead of the 3-2 home win over SC Freiburg. It is not yet possible to say whether or not the 29-year-old will be able to feature again this season.
