The German Football League (DFL) published the fixture list for the 2023/24 Bundesliga campaign on Friday morning. Niko Kovac’s team get their season under way with a home match against top-flight newcomers 1. FC Heidenheim on Saturday 19/Sunday 20 August, before travelling to 1. FC Köln a week later in their first away game.
The Wolves have been handed a trip to Dortmund on Matchday 5, and they will round off 2023 at champions Bayern Munich (Matchday 16) on Tuesday 19/Wednesday 20 December. The final match of the season sees the Green-and-Whites take on 1. FSV Mainz 05 at the Volkswagen Arena on Saturday 18 May 2024.
