Yoon-Sang Hong is heading home to South Korea after VfL Wolfsburg reached an agreement with 1. FC Nürnberg, where Hong had been turning out for the second team since last summer, to end the winger’s two-year loan deal. The 21-year-old joined the Wolves’ U19 side from South Korean outfit Pohang Steelers in January 2021 before enjoying a spell on loan at VfL’s Austrian partner club SKN St. Pölten. Hong will now return to his hometown club.
