VfL Wolfsburg Women’s squad for the 2023/24 campaign continues to take shape, with Vivien Endemann becoming the reigning league and cup winners’ fourth new signing for next season after Chantal Hagel, Anneke Borbe and Lisa Schmitz. The 21-year-old striker, who has been with SGS Essen since 2021 and was part of the SV Meppen side that achieved promotion to the FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga in 2020, has signed a contract through to 30 June 2026. The Lower Saxony native has made 59 appearances in the top flight as well as 12 outings in the DFB Cup.

“An opportunity to win titles”

“For me, VfL Wolfsburg are one of the best teams in Europe,” Endemann said. “The talks with the management were very persuasive. I see an opportunity to keep developing here and to win titles along with the team.”

“Talented and versatile”

“We’re pleased to have signed a very talented and versatile attacking player, who is capable of causing any defence problems with her pace,” added VfL sporting director Ralf Kellermann. “That attribute, as well as her determination to take the next steps in her development, fits our requirement profile perfectly.”
