Draw against Sassuolo

The Wolves were held to a 1-1 friendly draw by the Italian top-flight side.

In the first of two friendly games following the VfL Family Festival, the Wolves drew 1-1 with Italian Serie A outfit Sassuolo Calcio. Jonas Wind gave head coach Niko Kovac's side the lead in the 27th minute at the Volkswagen Arena, only for Nedim Bajrami to equalise before the break (42').

The Green-and-Whites' second friendly, against Celta Vigo, kicked off immediately afterwards.
