Deal extended

Maxence Lacroix has signed a new contract with the Wolves until 2025.

VfL Wolfsburg’s long-term plans continue to take shape, with central defender Maxence Lacroix extending his Wolves contract - which was only due to expire in 2024 - by a further year until 2025.

“Brilliant development”

“Maxence developed brilliantly last season, which is why we’re pleased that we can continue to pursue our goals together,” said VfL sporting director Marcel Schäfer. Lacroix himself is just as happy to commit his future to the Green-and-Whites. “I’m very pleased to have extended my contract,” the defender said. “I’m really settled in Wolfsburg and still have big plans with VfL. It’s fun to play in this team and I’m looking forward to improving together and being successful.”
