VfL Women won 4-0 in their Bundesliga away match against SC Freiburg.

It was a perfect start for VfL Wolfsburg Women in their first competitive outing of 2023. The She-Wolves triumphed 4-0 away to Freiburg, thus ending the first half of the FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga season with 11 wins from 11 games. The goals came from Ewa Pajor, Alexandra Popp, Sveindis Jonsdottir and Lena Lattwein.

Goals

0-1 Pajor (4th minute): Dominique Janssen’s ball from her own penalty area releases Pajor, who uses her pace to score the opening goal.

0-2 Popp (8th minute): Lattwein crosses to Popp, who doubles the She-Wolves’ lead with a left-footed finish.

0-3 Jonsdottir (45th minute): Again the goal comes from Janssen – the Dutchwoman again feeds Pajor, who plays in Jonsdottir to make it 3-0.

0-4 Lattwein (87th minute): VfL put the cherry on the cake shortly before the end. Felicitas Rauch bends a corner into the penalty area and Lattwein is there to head in the fourth goal.
