Contract extended

Pavao Pervan will remain with the Wolves for another year.

VfL Wolfsburg can count on Pavao Pervan again in the 2025/26 season. The 37-year-old goalkeeper has renewed his contract, which was set to expire in the summer, by a further year until 2026. Since joining from LASK in July 2018, the Austrian shot-stopper has made 45 appearances in all competitions for the Green-and-Whites. Pervan is the third longest-serving player in the Wolves squad after Maximilian Arnold (January 2012) and Yannick Gerhardt (July 2016).

“Fills me with pride”

“Wolfsburg has become a second home for me and my family, so I’m very happy that I’ll still be a part of VfL next season,” said Pervan. “It fills me with pride to continue playing my part in the team’s success at the highest level.”

“Pavo epitomises loyalty, commitment and team spirit – qualities that make him an indispensable part of our squad,” added VfL sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz. “With his experience and personality, he is a role model we can always count on.”
