VfL Wolfsburg Women beat PSV Eindhoven 3-0 in their final pre-season friendly of the summer thanks to goals from Sveindis Jonsdottir (8’), Svenja Huth (13’) and Lena Lattwein (pen. 16’) in front of a crowd of 1,249. The match was the only one of the team’s summer friendlies to be held on their own patch at the AOK Stadion.
Prior to the start of the 2024/25 Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga season, VfL take on league rivals Bayern Munich in the Supercup on Sunday 25 August at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion in Dresden (kick-off 18:15 CEST).
