VfL player Sofie Svava is getting support from her native Denmark, with Copenhagen-based company RAWBITE becoming a new partner and supplier to VfL Women. RAWBITE is famous for its fruit and nut bars, which are 100 per cent organic, vegan, gluten-free and with no added sugar. RAWBITE’s products are particularly popular among sporty people, from recreational players to professionals. The partnership with VfL Wolfsburg is the first team partnership of its kind in Germany for the young Scandinavian firm, which has been part of the Hanover-based Bahlsen Group since 2016.
Developed at a kitchen table
As of now, RAWBITE’s ‘peanut’ and ‘cocoa’ flavours will be available on matchdays at the Volkswagen Arena and AOK Stadion. In addition, RAWBITE will support VfL Wolfsburg’s ‘Tomorrow Together’ day, providing bars for all internal and external participants. Matchday competitions, joint campaigns with VfL’s partner network and various promotional activities are also planned.
RAWBITE was set up in 2009 by Danish friends Rolf, Morten and Nikolaj at a kitchen table. The trio wanted to develop a tasty snack that copes without artificial additives – a simple and straightforward idea, which has succeeded not just in Denmark. Under the slogan “Pure Taste. Pure Joy.” RAWBITE is now sold in 30 countries. The recipe for success: the tasty bars are filling without weighing you down, they don’t crumble, melt or smear – no matter what the temperature is. And the cheerful colours simply put you in a good mood.
