Wolf tracks on Thursday

Training-ground visitors / Youngsters arrive

Der VfL-Wolfsburg-Trainer Niko Kovac redet mit Marcus Sorg.

The Wolves are now at their training camp in Seefeld, Austria for the next stage of pre-season preparations. We’ll bring you the latest from the training camp and everything else to do with VfL in the Wolf Tracks every day until the end of the camp.

Sorg pays VfL a visit: There was a new face watching from the sidelines as VfL completed two training sessions on Thursday. Marcus Sorg, assistant coach of the German national team, visited the Wolves in Tirol and chatted with head coach Niko Kovac, managing director Marcel Schäfer and sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz.

Gentner in attendance: The Germany delegation were not the only visitors to the training ground on Thursday. VfL academy director Michael Gentner was also present and spoke with Schäfer on the touchline as the first team worked up a sweat.

Three youngsters involved: Three Green-and-White academy players travelled to the camp in Seefeld during the afternoon session on Thursday. Bennit Bröger, who scored in the first pre-season friendly of the summer last weekend, Anders Börset and Kevin Lebersorger did not take part in any of the drills or exercises, but will all be involved with first-team training on Friday.
