VfL CONNECT

The Wolves’ unique business app enables simple ticket management and much more.

VfL CONNECT is the new and unique business app from VfL Wolfsburg. It has already been available for several weeks in the Apple Store and Google Play Store, and was deployed fully for the first time at the recent match against SC Freiburg. With VfL CONNECT, the Wolves have created a simple, digital service solution to meet the various needs of VIP guests at the Volkswagen Arena. From now on, their tickets can be managed digitally using the app, making guest management even simpler. But that’s not all…

VfL CONNECT features

Following several successful test runs on a smaller scale and overwhelmingly positive feedback, the app was deployed for the first time at the Bundesliga match against Freiburg, where users were able to access all kinds of features. With the app, VIP tickets and parking permits can easily be managed digitally and guests can be invited. This significantly simplifies the process and is not just innovative and more convenient, but also more environmentally friendly and thus another step in the Wolves’ “Race to Zero” campaign. At the same time, VfL CONNECT handles the digital COVID-19 infection tracking in the background in compliance with data protection regulations. In the so-called “Matchday Mode”, users now have quick access to tickets and parking permits at any time and also get a good overview of the current menu, the programme and relevant travel information. The Matchcenter shows the most important match statistics and current table.

“Important milestone”

Steffen Grupp, head of sponsoring and events at VfL Wolfsburg, said: “VfL CONNECT is an important milestone for our partners and us. As of now, the app is the central digital solution for VfL Wolfsburg’s whole hospitality offering. There’s a particular focus on the simplification of ticket handling – now all VIP tickets and parking permits can be managed and forwarded in real time via the app. What’s more, a large part of the communication with our partners will take place over the app in the future, making it easier and quicker. We’re delighted that we’ll be able to exchange ideas with our partners even more closely and intensively in the future through VfL CONNECT.”

Connecting partners

The integrated network function offers all VfL business partners a digital business directory in which all VfL partners are listed. The “Seating Tool” linked to VfL CONNECT gives hostesses on matchday the opportunity to quickly and easily seat partners and guests at the designated tables. VfL CONNECT is an in-house development, created in collaboration with long-time Wolves partner COMbridge IT Consulting.
