Pierre Littbarski is the new Brand Ambassador at VfL Wolfsburg. The World Cup winner from 1990, who has been with the Wolves since 2010, will take on his new role as from July 1st, 2018. In the future, the 58-year-old will take on all representative tasks in the areas of marketing and public relations for the Green-Whites, both at home and abroad. The club thus plans to make use of Littbarski’s many years of experience, his football know-how and his international network.
The 73-time German international joined VfL Wolfsburg as assistant-coach in 2010 and subsequently spent a brief period as caretaker-coach of the Wolves. Most recently, Pierre Littbarski was responsible for scouting in the areas of "Player Observation and Development".
