The dates and times for the first eight matchdays of the 2020/21 Bundesliga season have been confirmed. VfL’s opening match at home to Bayer 04 Leverkusen will take place on Sunday 20 September, kicking off at 18:00 CEST. In total, the Wolves play six of their first eight fixtures on a Sunday, with the other two on Saturdays. One of the Saturday games has a rather unusual kick-off time, though, with the clash against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Matchday 4 (17 October) scheduled for 20:30 CEST.
