A further top-performer has committed to VfL Wolfsburg for the long-term. The Polish striker in VfL head-coach Stephen Lerch’s side, Ewa Pajor, has added a further year to her current contract with the VfL and will remain a Lady-Wolf until 2020. The 21-year old’s contract had previously been valid until June 30th, 2019. "Ewa has come on in leaps and bounds over the past few months, has earned herself a set place in the first-eleven and is far from being at the end of her development. She still has masses of potential," stated Ralf Kellermann, Sporting Director of women’s football at VfL. "We are delighted to be able to plan with her on into the future and we firmly believe we will have a lot of enjoyment with her in the team."

Ewa Pajor signed to VfL Wolfsburg from Polish champions KKPK Medyk Konin. In her first season with the Green-Whites, the goal-getter won the DFB-Cup, before going on to win the domestic league and cup double with VfL last season. With eight goals in 17 competitive games, Pajor was VfL’s third best scorer in the double-winning season. So far this season, the U17 European Champion from 2013 has been in the starting eleven for every game. "I have a lot to thank VfL Wolfsburg for – it’s the perfect club for me. Playing here is a lot of fun and I never hesitated for a second about extending my contract," explained Pajor.
