Full-back Sebastian Jung has been side-lined for several weeks with a muscle sinew tear.

The Wolves will be without Sebastian Jung for a longer period. The right full-back was forced out of last Saturday’s 1-2 home defeat to FC Bayern Munich in the 78th minute through injury. On Monday. An MRI-Scan unveiled the extent of the damage and returned the bitter diagnosis for the 27-year-old of a muscle sinew tear to the right thigh (ham-string), which will keep the defender out of the reckoning for several weeks.

Fortune has certainly not favoured Sebastian Jung at VfL. Since joining the Wolves from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2014, the one-time German 'A' international has suffered continuous set-backs through serious injuries, which have resulted in the defender making just 39 league appearances in Green-White. At the end of last year, "Sebi" Jung made his comeback, after months out through injury, during the 2-0 DFB-Cup win in Nuremberg.
